Raven House Trust recognises the need to adapt the future work of the organisation to reflect the changing climate in relation to UK and Welsh Assembly Government’s social environmental and community regeneration. Planning for the future aims to take advantage of the opportunities available to and minimise the threats.

Planning for the future has been developed to provide a framework for partners and funders/sponsors to clarify the vision, values, operational mission, programmes, partnership working and funding needs of Raven House Trust for the next three years.

Raven House Trust has committed itself to achieve the following:

 

  • Improved governance
  • Improved working partnerships
  • Development of the service
  • Improve funding to service
  • Improve range of training/educational opportunities
  • Improve volunteer engagement (increase the number of volunteers)
  • Improve business /marketing planning
  • Increase referrals to service and service agreements
  • Improve standards and professionalism (quality kite marked)
  • To embrace social enterprise methodologies alongside other forms of funding.

This will ensure that we will be able to build a solid foundation to meet the challenges ahead in providing services that:

  • Are inclusive with social, community and ethical purpose
  • Are free or subsidised at point of service
  • Provides value for money
  • Are transparent and accountable
  • Are quality kite marked
  • Embrace social enterprise methodologies
